In 2005, the doors of Sunshine Finance opened quietly for the purposes of providing debt consolidation and closing costs assistance to the clients of the country’s largest affordable home developer. Recognizing the broader public need for financial assistance, the Company made its services available to the wider public less than a decade later and today, is the local Leader in Private Lending. Sunshine Finance offers a wide array of real estate and personal credit products. We are focused on customer service and efficiency of process. As a boutique lender, we have the agility to tailor products to meet the needs and capacity of our clients and we have become the Private Lending Partner to countless of Bahamians and Bahamian residents. We are ready to serve you. Sunshine Finance is the wholly owned subsidiary of Sunshine Holdings Ltd; the corporate vehicle of the renown “Sunshine Boys”.
Descending from Ross Corner, the Sunshine Boys began their journey over forty-five (45) years ago seeking to prove that “Bahamians of humble origins could work together to own and operate big business”. Their journey for economic empowerment started in the early 70s in a pre-Independence Bahamas. The young men were feeding off of the infectious movement of change and growth which then enveloped our beloved Bahamas. They were convinced, then as they are now, that sustainable national development would and will only happen with a robust private sector in which Bahamians play leading roles. Over the course of their journey, the Sunshine Boys developed many businesses including the Twin Theatre in 1973, Arawak Homes in 1983 and Sunshine Insurance shortly thereafter. |
